Council Popcorn Rewards

For their exceptional Popcorn sales efforts, Gulf Stream Council offers seveal rewards for both individual Scouts, Leaders, and Scout Units, in addition to those offered by Trails' End.

SCOUTS

  • Council Top Seller Contender - for Scouts with $5000+ in total sales.  The winner will be awarded a $500 Amazon Gift Card.
  • District Top Seller Contender - for Scouts with $2500+ in total sales.  The winner will be awarded a $100 Amazon Gift Card.
  • Summer Camp Certificate - Scouts with a minimum of $3000 in recorded sales will be awarded a FREE registration to any one of our 2025 Summer Camp opportunities: Tanah Keeta Summer Camp (Scouts BSA), Cub Scout Resident Camp, or Cub Scout Day Camp.
    • Award covers base registration only and does not include fees for merit badge classes or offsite excursions.
  • $1500 Club - for all Scouts with $1500+ in total sales.  Scouts will be awarded a special Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) for their uniform or personal collection and will earn an entry into a drawing for a prize package (coming soon!).
  • Campaign Patch - All Scouts with a minimum of $25 in recorded sales will receive a Popcorn Campaign patch for this year.
  • NOTE:  Unit Kernels will no longer be required to submit names and total sales for their unit's Top Selling Scouts.  All Top Sellers will be identified while preparing the final Council and District Leaderboards on November 15.

KERNELS

  • Recognition Patch - District Kernels, Unit Kernels and Unit Co-Kernels will receive a special patch as a token of appreciation for your role during this year's Popcorn Campaign.  Must be registered as a Unit Kernel or Co-Kernel in the Trails' End portal.

UNITS

  • Unit Camping Certificate - for Units with an average of $350 per Scout (based on roster dated August 1, 2024).  Certificate covers campsite fees at Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation or Camp Oklawaha only and cannot be used at Council or District events.
  • VIP Popcorn Kickoff - Kernels from this year's Top-10 Selling Units (Council-wide) and Top-3 Selling units (District-wide) will be invited to a special VIP event to get a sneak peek into the 2025 Popcorn sale!
