With nearly 300 local councils, the Boy Scouts of America is active and involved in nearly every community in America—and some that are overseas. Your financial support helps the Gulf Stream Council continue on our mission to improve the lives of young men and women.
By giving to the Gulf Stream Council BSA, you are directly supporting your local Scouting programs — programs that clean up your parks, gather food for the area needy, and even help your community prepare for disaster.
It is through caring "Friends of Scouting" that the Gulf Stream Council is able to fulfill its mission to bring Scouting to the seven counties here in southeastern Florida: Indian River, St Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Okeechobee, Glades and Hendry.
Each year the Gulf Stream Council must raise approximately $365 per Scout to stay in operation. These dollars are in addition to what the unit raises to carry on the program and activities for their Scouts.
