Big Lake District

Drumline Live is an international tour based on the Historically Black College and University (HBCU) marching band tradition. With riveting rhythms, bold beats and ear-grabbing energy, this stage show is a synchronized musical showcase of the HBCU experience. Incorporating original compositions and soul-infused interpretations of top 40 hits, group performances range from colorful, choreographed routines to heavy doses of drum riffs and cadences.

Pack & Troop 605 attended with 21 scouts and 5 leaders and Pack 622 attended with 10 scouts and 3 leaders.

Okeechobee District has been revamped into something new: Big Lake District. This is an exciting time as we move forward into a new perspective on Scouting: the Community. Each community will now have the opportunity to build up Scouting locally. Keeping it on a local level, the communities will find it easier to support Scouting's needs as well as for local units to support their communities' needs.

We have gained the communities around the Eastern side of Lake Okeechobee: Canal Point, Pahokee, and Belle Glade. These communities have rich soil for Scouting to once again flourish and grow as it once did in the past.
