Jamboree on The Air (JOTA) 2021 Camporee

What is JOTA?

JOTA (Jamboree-on-the-Air) is the world’s largest digital Scout event taking place over the airwaves. Held every year in October, the event connects millions of young people around the world for a full weekend of online activities that promote friendship and global citizenship. JOTA enables young people and volunteers to participate in fun and engaging group activities over amateur radio focused on developing 21st-century skills through Scouting. The official JOTA/JOTI website can be found at www.jotajoti.info.

This year JOTA-JOTI 2021 will take place from 15 to 17 October. The Gulf Stream Council is excited to bring back our JOTA Camporee, to enable scouts to participate in this thrilling international event. The JOTA program aims to support Scouts and non-Scouts of all ages to learn about communications technology, the values of global citizenship, and how together we can solve the most pressing challenges facing our planet.
