With 242 local councils serving communities across the United States and beyond, Scouting America remains one of the nation’s largest youth development organizations. Your financial support helps the Gulf Stream Council continue its mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. 

When you give to the Gulf Stream Council, your investment stays local, directly supporting Scouting programs that develop leadership, character, citizenship, and service. Scouts give back to our communities by cleaning parks, collecting food for families in need, supporting conservation projects, and assisting with disaster preparedness efforts.

Through the generosity of caring Friends of Scouting donors, the Gulf Stream Council serves youth and families across seven counties in southeastern Florida: Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Okeechobee, Glades, and Hendry.

To deliver these life-changing programs, the Council must raise approximately $375 per Scout each year beyond unit-level fundraising efforts. These funds help provide program support, training, camp properties, insurance, membership services, and resources that ensure every Scout has the opportunity to thrive.
