A taste of things to look forward to in 2010:

BSA 100th Year Celebration -  YES there is a Council run event planned for May 21, 22, 23 at Okeeheelee Park (Flyer already sent out; email Brett Dean if you want a copy)... But thats not going to stop TREASURE COAST from hosting our very own FEBRUARY event!!  A committee is already in place and organizing a day event, tentatively set for February 13th, that will showcase the past 100 years of Scouting!  It is expected to have games, food, events, showcases, and much much more!!  We hope to get the entire community of St Lucie County to celebrate our 100th Anniversary!    More details coming SOON.  Please contact Joan Field if you would like to help with the planning process!!   

Monthly Commissioner Education: Starting 2010, Treasure Coast commissioner staff will start posting a monthly newsletter with the intent of educating current and new Unit Commissioners!  More details to come.  If anyone has any educational suggestions about anything specific they would like to see in this newsletter, please contact Joe Pierro. 

Klondike Derby January 2010: Under the leadership of Rick Conover, Kevin Vogelgesang and Paul Skurnick, Treasure Coast will be having our first Klondike Derby!!  The races will be run by patrols and sleds will be custom built for the event.  More details coming soon!
